Special mention to Alexander Ryan - a new National Age qualifier and holder of 2 new club records. A great result for the Boys 11-12 200m Free Relay - (James Ashleigh, John Ashleigh, Liam Barber, Alexander Ryan) - they came 6th in a very close race.

 NSW State Age & Open Water Meet: 5-6 December

Some terrifc results :

12 year old Alexander Ryan swimming the 5km for only the second time won a gold medal for his age group beating the second place getter by 7 minutes and qualifying for Open Water Age nationals

Jess Traficante won Gold in the 5km and Gold in the 10km -a very gutsy effort.

Dylan Appelqvist - achieved 8th placing in the 10km - another great swim.

Woden Development Meet - June 28

The PB rate was 72% - and some excellent swims, Telopea came home with 15 Gold, 6 Silver and 6 Bronze.

Special welcome to Anton Pavic competing in his first swim meet for Telopea.

 

 

Club Records:

Four Club Records were broken at the ACT Schools Championships - 25th June. Congratulations to Ayu Barry.

Ayu also qualified for the Telstra Australian Championships in 50m Backstroke, a fantastic achievement for a 12yr old.

ACT Distance Meet - June 21

14 swimmers attended and the PB rate was a whooping 73% - an excellent result, Telopea came home with 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 4 Bronze.

Two club records were broken; Ayu Barry in 200m Backstroke and Alexander Ryan in 200m Butterfly. Ayu also broke the ACT Residents record for 200m Backstroke. Well done Ayu and Alexander!
